Quevera's Year of Giving Finale: Supporting Stuff the Train Toy Drive
As we reach the final chapter of Quevera’s 2024 Year of Giving campaign, we are excited to announce our support for the Stuff the Train Toy Drive. This heartwarming initiative collects toys and gifts for children in need across Maryland, delivering hope and joy during the holiday season. For November and December, Quevera will host a toy drive at our office, collecting new, unwrapped toys to be distributed to local hospitals, schools, and nonprofits. We invite you to join us in making this holiday season brighter for children in our community.
Stuff the Train Toy Drive: Making a Difference for Children in Need
Stuff the Train partners with hospitals, schools, and nonprofits to ensure children of all ages, from infancy to 18 years old, receive gifts that can celebrate birthdays, acknowledge milestones, and aid recovery throughout the year. Toys collected will be delivered to:
- Hospitals: GBMC, Herman & Walter Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai, Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, and University of Maryland Medical Center.
- Schools: James McHenry Elementary, Sharp Leadenhall Elementary, Union Baptist Head Start, and The Historic Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Elementary School.
- Nonprofits and Community Associations: Andrew’s Laughing Gas, Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, Bryanna’s Love, Camp Rock, Casey Cares Foundation, and many more.
Last year, the 2023 Stuff the Train event brought thousands of toys to over 25 organizations, making a huge impact on children and families. This year, they aim to surpass that success and spread even more joy throughout our community.
How You Can Help
Quevera is collecting new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages at our office from November 1st to December 11th. You can drop off toys or purchase them from our Amazon shopping list with items shipped directly to our office. Your generous contributions will make a significant difference in the lives of children across Maryland.

Every toy you donate will be delivered to a child in need, bringing a little extra light into their lives during the holidays and beyond.

Reflecting on Our Year of Giving Journey
Our Year of Giving has been an incredible experience, and we are grateful for all the support we’ve received. Here’s a look back at the milestones we’ve achieved together in 2024:
- January: Supported the CASEY CARES FOUNDATION.
- February: Organized a Blood Drive for LUMINIS HEALTH ANNE ARUNDEL MEDICAL CENTER.
- March: Extended our support to the BALTIMORE ANIMAL RESCUE & CARE SHELTER (BARCS).
- April: Committed to the KENNEDY KRIEGER INSTITUTE, purchasing 2-step wagons for the school.
- May: Supported Veterans through THE BALTIMORE STATION.
- June: Helped Children through the MEADE HS FEEDER SYSTEM.
- July: Supported One of Our Own through LIVING DONOR AWARENESS.
- August – September: Contributed to HOPE FOR ALL with a warm winter drive.
